Elacestrant intermediates. Elacestrant is a selective estrogen receptor degrading agent (SERD) as it induces ER α Degradation. Elacestrant is used to treat certain types of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer such as breast cancer that depends on hormones such as estrogen to grow. It is mainly for adults who have had disease progression following treatment with at least one other hormone therapies.
